What you'll experience
The visit lasts about ninety minutes. It starts in the orchard, where Nicolas explains the old varieties, the hedgerows and the agroecological approach. It continues in the cellar, where wild yeasts have been at work since 1984.
It ends with a tasting of five to six cuvées: cider, perry, pommeau, Calvados depending on the season. We talk about the traditional method, ageing on the lees, and what sets a living cider apart from a filtered, sulfited one.
This is a producer's tour. We take our time, answer questions, and share what we do and why.

The estate is in Val-ès-Dunes, about twenty minutes southeast of Caen. By train, the nearest station is Mézidon-Canon. Parking is available on site.
