4. Legal basis
Data processing is based on: performance of a contract (orders), consent (newsletter, audience measurement, advertising), and legitimate interest (service improvement).
5. Data retention

- Newsletter data: until unsubscribed
- Contact data: 3 years after the last contact
6. Cookies, audience measurement and advertising
Functional cookies (cart, session, age verification, storing your consent choice) are required for the site to work. They do not require consent under the GDPR.
To measure audience, we use three tools:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: no cookie, no personally identifiable data. No consent required.
- PostHog: usage measurement (pages viewed, journeys, forms submitted), hosted in the European Union. A cookie set on your device links together the pages of a single visit. This data serves only to improve the site and stays internal to the estate.
- Google Analytics 4: sets cookies and requires your consent. It stays disabled by default (Google Consent Mode) and only runs after you agree via the banner. If you decline, no Google Analytics cookie is set.
We also run advertising campaigns on Google and Meta (Facebook, Instagram). With your consent, these platforms set cookies that count the visits and purchases generated by our ads, and that let us show you our messages again on those platforms. These tags are loaded by Google Tag Manager and stay inactive until you agree.
Google and Meta are based in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which both companies adhere.
You can change your choice at any time: .
7. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@5autels.com.
8. Complaints
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
